FC Sarum Camp Staff

PictureColin Griggs - Co-Director
Colin Griggs is currently the Head Girl's Soccer Coach at The Ethel Walker School (Simsbury, CT) and is formerly the Head Coach of the girls' soccer team at Hebron Academy (ME) and the Black Rock FC Residential Academy girls' team at High Mowing School (Wilton, NH). At Walker's, Colin was named the CT Prep School Coach of the Year in 2023 and his team made the NEPSAC semifinals in 2024. During his time at Hebron, his teams had success including a berth in the 2016 and 2017 New England Prep School Athletic Council's tournament. For Hebron, it was just their second and third berths in the tournament, and they reached the 2016 Final. At High Mowing, Colin helped lead the Black Rock FC girls' team to claim the title at the Generation Adidas National Cup in February 2020. Colin received his Advanced National Diploma from the NSCAA during the summer of 2005. He graduated from Franklin and Marshall College in 2006 where he played on the men's soccer team for four years. After graduation, he was the Assistant Athletic Director at Indian Mountain School and the Head Coach of the girls' soccer team when they went undefeated in 2008. Colin resides in Connecticut with his wife Sarah and their two sons, Raleigh and Henry.​

PictureJessie Giegucz - Co-Director
Jessie Giegucz is the Head Women's Soccer Coach at NCAA Division I program, Duquesne University. She spent 10 seasons at Division II program, Slippery Rock University. Jessie has recorded a 104-48-24 (.659) record over her seasons at The Rock after spending one season at Division III Northland College (11-9-1). She began her career as an assistant at Shippensburg University. Jessie graduated from Dickinson College in 2007 being named to the Centennial Conference All-Conference team for four playing seasons, reaching the NCAA Sweet Sixteen in 2005, and continuing to be on the record book for Dickinson College and the Centennial Conference for goals, assists and points amassed. Jessie lives near Pittsburgh, PA with her husband Geoff, daughter Gigi and son Mack.

PictureRichard "Buddy" Drew - Certified Athletic Trainer
Buddy Drew serves as the Head Athletic Trainer as well as a teacher at Marianapols Preparatory School in Thompson, CT. He has been at the helm of the Sports Medicine Department for 15 years and developed the program at Marianapolis from literally nothing to what is known as a “Safe Sport School, 1st Team '' by the National Athletic Trainers Association. At Marianapolis, Buddy has worked with all levels of athletes, from young aspiring athletes to Division I professional prospects. Prior to Marianapolis, Buddy worked at Southern New Hampshire University.  While there, he worked with all of their division II teams but specifically traveled with the Men's Soccer, Men's Basketball, and Men's Lacrosse teams. Buddy completed his undergraduate degree at Merrimack College. He was a member of their  football  (American football)  team while completing internships with many different teams most notably their Division I hockey program. Buddy's first summer as FC Sarum's Certified Athletic Trainer was in 2011. Buddy lives in Thompson, CT with his wife, 3 boys, and goldendoodle.  

PictureErica Ludwikowski
Erica Ludwikowski is originally from Williamsport, PA and joined the FC Sarum coaching staff in July of 2022. Erica played colligate soccer at the Division I level for four years at Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ. After graduating from Rider in 2019, she began coaching collegiately as an assistant for Division II Slippery Rock University while she earned a master’s degree in student affairs in higher education. Erica is currently the assistant women’s soccer coach at Cleveland State University, a division 1 institution in Cleveland, Ohio.

PictureCasey Ftorek
Casey Ftorek is the Head Boys' Soccer coach at Cushing Academy (Ashburnham, MA) where he started in the fall of 2019. Prior to his time at the helm of the Penguins, he spent nine years as the Assistant Coach at Hebron Academy (ME). He was part of the coaching staff that won back-to-back NEPSAC Class C titles in 2016 and 2017, going undefeated in both seasons. During his playing career, Casey won the NCAA National title and was an All-American during the fall of 2007 at Middlebury College. He was also on the men's hockey team, which made the NCAA Final during the same school year. Casey lives in Ashburnham, MA with his wife, Katie, and daughter, Bayley Bean.

PictureScott Ruggles
Scott Ruggles is the Head Boys' Soccer Coach at Millbrook School (Millbrook, NY) where he started during the fall of 2024 as the Assistant Soccer Coach on the girls' side. He was at Tilton School (Tilton, NH) for 21 years where he won two NEPSAC Class C titles and holds the record for most wins in program history. 2025 will be Ruggles's first summer on the staff at FC Sarum.


PictureMitch Kastilahn
Mitch Kastilahn is the Assistant Boys Soccer Coach at Millbrook School (Millbrook, NY) and history teacher. He is a graduate of Macalester College (MN) where he was the starting goalkeeper. He was also lucky to play abroad in Scotland and has been coaching since 2020. He joined the FC Sarum coaching staff is 2022 and has not looked back.
